Tele Rolleiflex Type 1 6x6 TLR in Excellent +++condition

For auction is a beautiful Tele Rolleiflex Type 1 6x6 TLR medium format camera. Serial number S23001312. The Tele Rolleiflex was produced from December of 1959 to August of 1974. Only 5000 of these fine units were manufactured in a period of 15 years. It is equipped with a Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135mm f/4 lens. Cosmetically this camera is in between mint- and Excellent ++ condition. I would rate it a solid 9.0 out of 10. The majority of these cameras were pretty beat up mostly having been used by professionals back in the 60's and 70's. This one is an exception condition showing little signs of wear. All functions work well. The shutter speeds all seem correct including the slow ones but I can't guarantee the accuracy. The lens looks mint. It is has no scratches or signs of mildew or fungus. There is no oil on shutter blades and they look perfect. The leather is tight and flawless. The ground glass because its plastic has some cleaning scratches/swirls.The film counter and transport function properly. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful this camera is. You will have a very hard time finding another one in this condition. It has been a favorite in my collection and I hope it ends up in the hands of someone who will appreciate it's beauty.
