What's so great about ethyl alcohol, a.k.a. ethanol? We're glad you asked! A handy multipurpose solvent, ethanol is "denatured" so it isn't consumed orally when it's sold for other uses. Denaturing is the process of adding other ingredients to pure ethanol that are difficult to separate from it, but which do not alter its functional properties. While some folks choose aggressive ingredients that strictly limit the use of their products, we designed our Emerson Labs Ethyl Alcohol to be suitable for both home and professional applications. Problem solved! (or was it 'solvated'-?) ;-)
HOW IT WORKS
As a polar solvent ethanol forms a liquid solution with both water and many organic compounds, making it a highly-effective cleansing agent, moisture & residue remover. Use Emerson Labs' 95% ethyl alcohol in a variety of applications at either full strength or diluted with purified water:
CLEANING -
Remove residues & prepare surfaces including walls, flooring, carpeting, windows & lights, vinyl records, tooling & whiteboards
WOODWORKING -
Cleanse before & after sanding, strip sealing wax, use with shellac as a primer & thinner, remove moisture, refinish furniture, clean brushes
DISINFECTING -
Sanitize yard tools & first-aid equipment, use as an antiseptic, kill common household microbes like bacteria, fungi & viruses
BUG ELIMINATOR -
Safe alternative for controlling bed bugs, house flies, mealybugs, whiteflies, aphids, spider mites & other soft-bodied insects
